This Privacy Policy explains how Audio Hertz LLC (“Audio Hertz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you visit audiohertz.com, make a purchase, subscribe to our emails, contact support, or use our software products and plug-ins. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our products or services.

3) Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account and checkout data: name, email, billing address, shipping address if applicable, order details, and any notes you add at checkout.
- Support requests: messages and any crash logs or system details you choose to share to help us troubleshoot.
- Marketing sign-ups: email address and preferences when you subscribe to our newsletter.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, and general location derived from IP.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used for core site functions, analytics, and advertising measurement. See Section 6.
Software licensing and updates
Today, our plug-ins do not perform online activation or automatic update checks, and the app does not send telemetry to Audio Hertz.
If we introduce activation or update checks in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide notice. If introduced, data processed may include: license key, plug-in name and version, operating system and version, DAW name and version, a hashed device or machine identifier, IP address, and timestamps. We do not collect your audio projects or audio content through licensing telemetry.
Information from service providers and partners
We may receive order and payment confirmations, deliverability status, analytics, and advertising performance metrics from:
- Payment processors: Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay via Stripe, Google Pay via Stripe
- Email provider: SendGrid
- Hosting/security: SiteGround
- Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics 4, Meta, Google Ads, TikTok (including server-side Conversion API where supported)

- Affiliates and contractors who work on our behalf under confidentiality and data-use limits
- Authorities or other parties when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some laws define certain advertising uses as “sharing.” You can manage advertising cookies in our banner or contact us to opt out of targeted advertising as described in Section 11.
8) Accounts, licensing, and activation
If you create an account or (in the future) activate our software, we process registration data (name, email) and, if activation is introduced, licensing data (license key, plug-in and version, DAW and version, operating system, hashed device identifier, IP address, timestamps) to verify your license, enable downloads and updates, and prevent abuse. Legal bases: performance of a contract and legitimate interests (security/anti-fraud).
9) Email and messaging
If you subscribe to our newsletter or product updates, we process your email based on your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. We may still send transactional emails about orders, licenses, or important policy updates.
10) Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy and as required by law. Where no specific legal requirement applies, we may retain information until you ask us to delete it. We will delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed for those purposes, subject to legal holds or dispute resolution.
11) Your choices and rights
Email and marketing
Unsubscribe using the link in our emails or message us using the contact form. We may still send transactional messages about orders, licenses, or policy updates.
Cookies and interest-based ads
Use the cookie banner and your browser settings to control non-essential cookies. You can also use industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (networkadvertising.org). Choices are browser- and device-specific.
Access, correction, deletion
You can request access to your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We may need to verify your identity and may retain certain data as required by law.

US state privacy rights
Residents of certain US states may have additional rights such as access, portability, correction, deletion, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. To exercise rights or opt out of targeted advertising, contact us at the link above. If your state law requires an appeals process, you may appeal a denial by replying to our decision email. We will respond within the minimum time required by law.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland users
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Please contact us first so we can try to help.
12) International transfers
We may transfer your information to the United States and other countries where we and our service providers operate. When we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful mechanisms.

Our website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Please review those notices.
14) Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
15) Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
16) Payments
We use third-party payment processors to handle card transactions, including Stripe and PayPal, and wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay via Stripe. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.
17) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure. Please use unique, strong passwords and keep your account details confidential.
18) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If we make material changes that affect your rights, we will provide additional notice (e.g., by email or a site banner).
